JIS Construction Progress Hits 68.95 Percent

Construction of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) or called Stadium Kita is entering 104th week where it touches 68.95 percent. The construction is currently entering the main work stage for structural works such as casting and flooring. Even so, PT. Jakpro together with Joint Operation (KSO) for JIS Project carried out various innovations and strategies thus construction of this FIFA-standard stadium remained productive and could be completed on target.
"We are optimistic, because during the pandemic, collaboration is the key. This way, we can mitigate any challenges and potential delays from the start," he conveyed.
His side also tightened health protocols in Stadium Kita project area. Project area is made sterile because only field workers are allowed to enters. In addition, its facilities are also sprayed with disinfectant twice a week.
The management, he continued, also carries out health monitoring twice a day, from checking worker's body temperature, health, and requiring workers to report their condition to contractor's PIC.
"Workers who have just arrived at project site will undergo self-isolation for two weeks. During observation period, workers are still working in separate area that don't mix with other workers. While suppliers and guests who come to the project site are required to bring result of antigen test or antibody rapid test that has been taken a day before," he explained.
